The 30-Day Gratitude Challenge
Noticing the Good, Together
About the Challenge
What if 30 days of noticing the good could change how you feel?
The 30-Day Gratitude Challenge is a simple daily practice for raising your gratitude, and your vibration, from November 1 through December 31. You can start any day of your choosing.
Each day you'll receive a new gratitude prompt by email, focusing on a different area of life: the people you love, your home, your body, nature, teachers, food, even your failures. You write your list, notice how it feels, and share what you're experiencing along the way.
The research on gratitude is remarkable. In Dr. Robert Emmons' studies at UC Davis, people who counted their blessings each week felt better about their lives as a whole. Other studies found that gratitude journaling before bed helped people worry less and sleep better, and that the benefits kept growing for weeks afterward.
And there's something more. You get what you ARE, not what you want. When you're grateful, you get more to be grateful about.

What Participants Say
"I really enjoyed the relationship list, and did more than 10. It felt good to just write a long list quickly and not count. Teachers, friends, family, students, clients all came rushing in, and my heart truly was filled with gratitude. Thank you!"
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"I am loving the daily gratitude opportunity. It has made me realize how fortunate I am. I still have 3 elderly parents/people in my life who bring me so much. I have changed my way of thinking towards them since the challenge. Just this morning I came to realize that they are a blessing, not a burden. They ask for little and provide a lot."
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"I'm really enjoying this process, especially enjoying things I'm grateful for coming to mind during the day in anticipation of making my list before bed."
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"I like leaving two pages in my journal for each day, each topic. I find that I often come back to them and add on. It's as if the gratitude is percolating in my brain, looking for things on its own to be grateful for!"
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"Loving the Positive WHAT IF. I could do just this every day and it would be great!"
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"I don't always sleep well because my mind is sometimes overactive. But last night the thought came to me, think about your happy 'what ifs.' So I recited them in my head, fell asleep, ta da! Can't get enough positive what ifs. It's my new great love."
– Ronnie Ryan, Love and Cosmic Coach
"Our family has been going through a really challenging time, and this gratitude program has helped me keep on an even keel through it. Life can be hard, but I do see how much I have to be grateful for. Thank you."
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"Now I've been looking around my room, neighborhood, or office, and counting ten things I'm grateful for. It's a new fun little mental game, and I feel it lifts my spirits."
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"Sometimes it is hard to write these gratitudes. I realized that it is just my old programming and that I am actually changing my programming to a new message, and that was encouraging. Now I feel more determined to keep going because I feel more powerful and in control."
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"Today I did a two-minute gratitude rant in the morning while making coffee. It felt a little silly but actually great."
– Gratitude Challenge participant
"I am still doing the basic journaling from class 1, and I find this has had the biggest impact on me. It's good to have a gratitude habit. I know the benefits of it, and it's good to keep practicing."
– Clare L.
