I shared in the class that one young woman used to get panicky in school and on airplanes. She liked learning something that she could do with other people present and they didn’t know she was doing an energy exercise. After practicing several of these techniques, she no longer gets panicky.  

The benefits accumulate, too. Energy has habits. So as we consciously change these energetic patterns, they tend to stay in the peaceful place longer and longer each time. My husband and I traveled to Wales last week. Normally, I would be much more effected by the long air travel and the opposite side of the road driving with crazy, curvy two lane roads wide enough for one car with a 40mph speed limit and what seemed a round-a-bout every 2 miles! I’m new to tapping and found Robin to be very informative and a wonderful teacher. I’ve been struggling with anxiety for the past 2 years and read lots of the books and do the breathing techniques, etc - not interested in meds, but felt like I needed something more. The calming exercises I’ve been taught are so simple yet so effective! One day in class, I started panicking for no reason at all and right in the middle of class, without anyone suspecting a thing, I started doing my calming exercises! Immediately, I felt so much better while still listening to the lecture! I’ve even used these, such as the spleen hug, on the airplane because I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to riding on airplanes.
